Leonard Roy Pina, 62, of Buzzards Bay died Friday, Jan. 15 at Cape Cod Hospital in Hyannis unexpectedly.

Born in Wareham, he was the son of the late Antone and Dominga (Amado) Pina. A previous resident of California, he returned to Wareham in 1992. Mr. Pina worked as a repair technician for the Xerox Corporation.

Mr. Pina served in the U.S. Army and was in the 82nd Airborne Division. He was also a member of the 82nd Airborne Division Association.

He is survived by his siblings, Marie Lee of W. Wareham, Donald Pina of Marion, Antone Pina, Jr. of Wareham, Darlene Cruz of New Bedford and Inez Pina of Ariozona and many nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his sisters, the late Maxine Fowler and Leona Dixon.

His funeral service was held on Jan. 22 at the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, Wareham.  Interment followed in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
