I was honored to be a part of hosting our first Showcase Night. A heartfelt thank you goes to Delaney Shaw for her efforts in 2017 to raise money to start an arts fund, the basis of the funding for our first night. Another thank you to the local businesses that donated gift cards for our raffles. The event was wonderful, and I really enjoyed seeing the staff presenting all of the learning that their students have been doing. It was great to see the different strengths that all of our students have. Perhaps the best part was seeing the students' excitement and their family's pride. I am excited to help organize next year's showcase night and watch it grow in future years!
