Library to host book, seed, puzzle giveaway

May 17, 2020

MARION — This Friday 5/22 from 10 a.m. to noon the Elizabeth Taber Library will be holding a free giveaway of books, puzzles, and seeds. Children, middle readers and young adult materials are available.

The library asks that participants wear a face mask, approach the tables one family at a time, take only three books per person, one seed kit per person and one puzzle per family, and isolate materials for three days as a precaution.

Librarians also ask that families re-donate to the library when they finish with materials, if they are in good condition. The library will accept donations on Mondays and Wednesdays from noon to 4 p.m. Donations should be dropped off in a bin by the library’s back entrance.

For help with technology tutorials, book downloading, getting e-library cards, accessing the library’s digital resources, reference help, or any information, call 508-748-1252 Monday through Thursday from noon to 2 p.m. to arrange for help. Or email for more information.
