The Mattapoisett Lions Club will again sponsor an Electronics and Household Appliance Recycling Day on Saturday, May 17. The event will be held next to the Bowl-Mor Bowling Alley, 22 County Road (Route 6) in Mattapoisett from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Clear out unwanted clutter that’s accumulated over the years in and around the house or office. All are encouraged to sort through basements, attics, offices and garages for electronics and any household appliances (large and small) that are no longer needed.

Bring them to the event and for a nominal fee have them recycled or disposed. Pick-ups will be considered for seniors and disabled citizens.
