MARION — On Aug. 12 at 12:30 p.m. Sheryl Faye will put on a historical lecture and performance where she will play Abigail Adams as part of a Monday lecture series at the Council on Aging. 

Adams’ life is one of the most-documented of the first ladies. John frequently sought the advice of Abigail, and their letters are filled with intellectual discussions on government and politics.

This story starts off in her adult years, goes back through her childhood and then back to adulthood again. A catered lunch of ham salad sandwiches and pasta salad will be served at 11:30 a.m.
