Mae F. (D’Entremont) Hebard, 88
Mae F. (D’Entremont) Hebard, 88, of Marion, died December 1 in Kindred Transitional Care – Forestview, Wareham. She was the widow of the late James C. Hebard, Jr. and the daughter of the late Edward and Catherine (Cyr) D’Entremont.
She was born in Medford and lived in Stoneham for many years before moving to Marion in 1973.
Mrs. Hebard was a member of the First Congregational Church in Stoneham and then in Marion. She enjoyed sewing and quilting and traveled to Japan to a “quilt off”. She had served as a Girl Scout Leader. She enjoyed genealogy and cleaned house better than most.
Survivors include her son, James C. “CJ” Hebard of Marion; a daughter, Dannie Engwert of Chesterton, IN; 2 grandchildren, Scott Engwert and Stephanie Wisneiwski; several nephews, nieces, cousins, in laws and friends. She was predeceased by her daughter, Claudia Hebard and her siblings, Virginia Weeks, Ruth Sylvestri and Eddie D’Entremont.
Her memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, December 5, in the First Congregational Church, 28 Main St., Marion.
Visiting hours are from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday at the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Hwy., Wareham.
