In this workshop with artist Barbara Healy, participants will paint together in water-based acrylics on canvas.  Healy will help painters with each step of the process as they get in touch with their inner artist and enjoy sipping wine along the way.  Everyone’s sky will be a little different!  You’ll leave with an 11- by 14-inch painting and maybe some new favorite wines.  All materials provided.

A Connecticut native, Healy fell in love with the South Coast while earning her BFA at UMASS Dartmouth and stayed.  She paints the quiet beauty of the coastal landscape, often working plein air to study nature.  You can often find Barbara’s work in the Marion Art Center during our Members’ shows and other exhibitions.

Special instructions: Participants must be 21 or older to attend and should wear clothes they can paint in.
