Marion Council on Aging announces fall events
The Marion Council on Aging has a number of events lined up for November and December.
Podiatrist appointments
On November 19, a visiting podiatrist will be at the Council on Aging office. Appointments are needed.
Cardiac prevention program
The Council on Aging will host a cardiac prevention program on November 26 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Marion Town House.
There will be free cholesterol, blood pressure, blood sugar, and body mass index screenings. A nurse and dietician will be available to answer questions.
Acupuncture talk
Michelle Rodriguez of Inside Out Acupuncture will discuss the ancient healing practice on December 5 at the Marion Police Station at 1 p.m.
Registration is not required.
Arts and crafts fair
The Council on Aging will host an arts and craft fair at the Marion Music Hall on December 8 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
All are welcome.
