Marion election nomination papers available Feb. 1
Marion’s Annual Town Election will be held on Friday, May 13. Nomination papers for elected positions will be available beginning Feb. 1 at the Town Clerk’s office, 2 Spring St., Marion.
Below is a complete list of open seats: Selectman, one position for three years; assessor, one position for three years; moderator, one position for one year; board of health, one position for three years; planning board, two positions for three years; ORR School Committee, one position for three years; Marion School Committee, one position for three years; open space acquisition commission, two positions for three years.
Papers must be returned to the Town Clerk’s office for certification by Friday, March 25 by 5 p.m. Last day to withdraw a nomination, in writing, to the Town Clerk is April 11.
