Marion EMT Assn. donates video larynoscopes to town

Selectmen approved the donations of two video larynoscopes from the Marion EMT Association during the select board's Tuesday, July 10, meeting held in the conference room at Marion Police Station.
The video larynoscopes are used when a person has to be intobated to clear an airway. The video larynoscopes allow EMTs to visually see with more accuracy that the airway as tubes are inserted.
Selectmen said one of the video larynoscopes will be on the town's primary ambulance and the other will be on the secondary ambulence. The board thanked Marion EMT Association for its generous donation.
