Nomination papers for those hoping to run for a position during Marion's town election are available on Feb. 1.

Positions up for election are Town Moderator, one Board of Assessors position, one Board of Health seat, one Board of Selectmen seat, one Marion School Committee seat, one Marion Open Space Acquisition Commission and two Planning Board positions.

Select Chair Jody Dickerson has already announced that he will not re-run for his position.
