Marion Recreation hires dance instructor

Feb 8, 2017

The Marion Recreation Department has hired a dance instructor to expand its dance programs. Paige Hiller, a Rochester resident, has experience in tap, hip-hop, ballet and jazz. She also majored in dance at Dean College and worked as a lead instructor at Kathy Medina’s Studio of Dance.

“In one capacity or another I have been performing or teaching dance for the last 20 years. I find dance as an extremely cathartic way of expressing myself, relaxing, and learning self-discipline,”Hiller said in a statement. “I hope to teach the children with whom I work with the same principles that were taught to me. Things such as teamwork, dedication, reliability and communication are areas that I like to incorporate into my class as well to provide a dynamic experience.”

Ballet and jazz programming will begin March 8. For more information visit marionrecreation.com
