GW & Wade, LLC, an independent, fee-based financial advisory firm, has announced that John Murray of Marion is among the elite financial advisors in the Boston area.

In the February edition of Boston Magazine, 13 GW & Wade advisors were recognized with the 2015 Five Star Wealth Manager Award.

Murray joined GW & Wade in 1999, specializing in investment management, financial counseling and tax planning for high net worth and ultra high net worth individuals and families. Murray is a principal of the firm with more than 20 years of mutual fund and financial services experience.

He is a three year recipient of the Five Star Wealth Manager Award from Boston Magazine having won in 2012 and 2014 in addition to this year.

Murray is a graduate of the New England School of Law with honors. He was a contributor to and editor of the "Law Journal" while at the New England School of Law and a graduate of Saint Anselm College. He is admitted to practice law in Massachusetts.

The Five Star Wealth Management designation is given to select wealth managers in 45 markets throughout the U.S. and Canada to recognize those wealth mangers who excel in client retention and satisfaction.
