Marion resident, Lydia Frangos, graduates from RPI

Lydia Dorothy Frangos, daughter of Elise and Paul Frangos of 16 Riverview Lane in Marion graduated from Rennsalear Polytechnic Institute Institute (RPI) on May 25.  Lydia is a 2009 graduate of the Masconomet Regional High School serving Topsfield, Boxford, and Middleton.  At RPI Lydia was a violist in the school orchestra and is captain of the Women's Outdoor and Indoor Track and Field teams.  A nationally ranked hammer thrower, Lydia competed recently  at the NCAA Track and Field Championships at the University of Wisconsin, La Crosse, and will continue as captain again next year. She is employed by United Technologies Aerospace Systems in Windsor Locks Connecticut and will begin her Master's in Business Management with a concentration in Finance at RPI next fall.
