MARION — The Marion School Committee and Board of Selectmen are looking for a volunteer to fill a vacancy on the Upper Cape Cod Regional School Committee until November 2020, when the position is due for reelection.

Applications are available at the Board of Selectmen office at the Marion Town House at 2 Spring Street, or on the Marion Town Website. Applicants should include a letter of interest, or completed application to the Board of Selectmen by Friday, Aug. 2.

Selectmen and School Committee members will appoint someone to fill the vacancy on Tuesday, Aug. 27. At a Board of Selectmen meeting at the Marion Police Station, 550 Mill Street. The meeting will begin at 7 p.m.
