MARION — The town’s Board of Selectmen is seeking two volunteers to serve on the Zoning Board of Appeals.

The board’s former Chair Marc LeBlanc and member Tad Wollenhaupt both submitted letters of resignation.

The regulatory board is responsible for acting as the town's variance and special permit granting authority in matters concerning the application or interpretation of the town's residential zoning by-laws.

The Zoning Board of Appeals meets twice a month.

The application can be found here, and copies are available at the Town House as well.

Interested applicants should submit a completed form to the Marion Board of Selectmen at 2 Spring Street by Wednesday, Sept. 2.
