Dale Jones is back. For the second year in a row the former engineer and EMT is in the running for a seat on the Board of Selectmen.

He said last year’s defeat left him undaunted.

“I’m not going to give up easily, I’m a fighter,” he said.

Jones has chaired the police station building committee. He described the project as “being done on time and under budget.”

He’s also served on a committee that examined how to revamp the Marion Town House. Looking ahead, he said renovating the Town House will likely be the town’s big priority.

For 40 years, he has lived in Marion, where his two sons attended Sippican School and then Old Rochester Regional High School

A registered professional engineer, he’s worked for, General Dynamics, Monahan Corporation, and the Raytheon Company.
