Stonehill College student Margaret Tracy of Marion received a second place award in the Association of Private Enterprise Education Undergraduate Research Competition on April 5 for her work. The competition solicited undergraduate research along the themes of political economy, private enterprise education and free markets, but welcomed research from any topic.

Tracy’s work was titled "Whither the Liberal Arts? An Investigation of the Return to a Liberal Arts Degree."

Prizes for the contest were awarded on April 5 at the association's International Conference held in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Participants displayed and presented their research during a reception at the 2016 Conference.
