The 20th annual Marion Village 5K will be held on Saturday, June 25 at 9 a.m.

Race applications are available at www.jbrace.com. Applications are also available at the Marion Post Office or by contacting the race director, Chris Adams, at 508-241-6182.

Many local businesses are financial sponsors for the race, and the race committee is still soliciting prizes, services and gift certificates. All proceeds from the race will benefit youth recreation programs in Marion. The race starts and finishes on Front Street at Tabor Academy. The entry fee is $20.

Prize money is offered to the top three men and women finishers. Young runners in the 13 and under age group will receive certificates for free ice cream from Kool Kone. There is also a post race raffle open to all competitors. There will be drinks, fruit, bagels and other snacks for runners and walkers.
