MATTAPOISETT — The Council on Aging is offering a support group for widowed persons every first Thursday of the month at 9:30 a.m.

The support group will aim to provide hope, reassurance and community for widows.

The Council on Aging encourages those who’ve lost a spouse, life partner or significant other to attend one session, “and take it from there.”
