On Saturday, March 26 the Mattapoisett Democratic Town Committee caucus will hold its annual caucus to elect delegates to the Massachusetts Democratic Party State Convention at the Tsongas Center UMASS Lowell on Saturday, June 4. The caucus will take place from 10:15 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the lower conference room at the Mattapoisett Library, 7 Barstow St.

All Mattapoisett residents registered as Democrats as of January 31 are encouraged to participate in the caucus. Registered voters do not have to be members of the Town Committee to be eligible to attend the convention.

Attending a state convention is a way to meet people from across the Commonwealth who share similar political views. Delegates will have opportunities to meet and hear from many elected state officials as well as those who are organizers and officials of the state party.
