MATTAPOISETT — The Mattapoisett Democratic Town Committee will hold its December meeting on Wednesday, Dec. 20 at 6:30 p.m. in the downstairs public meeting room at the Mattapoisett Free Public Library, 7 Barstow St.

Tri-Town community members who share Democratic party values are invited and welcomed to attend. Attendees do not need to be a member of the Committee to participate.

At this meeting, the Committee plans to discuss holding a “2024 Election Year Speaker Series” sponsored by the Mattapoisett Democratic Town Committee. If members are in support, the group will discuss potential series topics most important to democracy. Ideas from all will be welcomed.

Afterwards the group will stroll over to the Inn for some holiday cheer.
