The Massachusetts Seaport Economic Council awarded a $216,000 coastal infrastructure grant for improvements to Long Wharf and a $120,000 planning grant to develop a municipal waterways plan.

“Both recreational boaters and commercial vessels in Mattapoisett… will see direct benefits,” said Mattapoisett Representative Bill Straus.

The next round of grant recipients will be announced in August 2020.
