Mattapoisett Halloween parade kicks off trick or treating

The Mattapoisett Police Halloween Parade marched through town on Monday night with kids and parents dressed as everything from Mario to a “crazy clown.”
The annual parade is more than 50 years old and ends with kids receiving candy and prizes at Center School followed by a night of trick or treating in Mattapoisett Village.
