Seth Mendell, President of the Mattapoisett Historical Society, will be hosting a tour “Shipyards of Mattapoisett” on Sunday, September 2, at 5 p.m. at the Gazebo in Shipyard Park.

Come and learn about this busy and fascinating time in Mattapoisett history when 300 vessels were built for the worldwide whaling industry.

The tour is free, but donations are always welcome.
