The Friends of the Mattapoisett Library's Annual Book Sale will start off with a members-only preview, Wednesday, July 17 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., and continue on Thursday and Friday, July 18 and 19 from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m., and on Saturday, July 20 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.

The sale will be held in the downstairs meeting room of the library, located at 7 Barstow Street.

New members can join at the preview or any time during the sale, and current members can renew their membership as well.

The Friends of the Mattapoisett Library is a non-profit organization that exists to support the library’s needs. The Friends provide a number of museum passes annually; support the summer Children’s Programs and others by request; and serve to provide the library and its staff with wants and needs as they arise. Funding comes from membership fees, monthly and annual book sales, and jewelry and accessories sales.
