Mattapoisett Library Feature Program on What's New at the New Bedford Whaling Museum

Sarah Rose, Curator of Education at the New Bedford Whaling Museum will present a program at the Mattapoisett Free Public Library on Wednesday, May 11th from 6 pm–7 pm in the downstairs meeting room. Sign up to attend by calling 508-758-4171 or visiting the library.

Everyone is invited to hear what’s new at the Whaling Museum as a result of its substantial addition. Learn about current and future exhibits as well as new programs and digital initiatives. Rose will bring many images to illustrate the new displays and exhibits.

A second event bringing library patrons to the Whaling Museum for a guided tour is being planned for June. Participants at the library program can sign up then.

The Mattapoisett Free Public Library is located at 7 Barstow Street in Mattapoisett village, and the facility is handicapped accessible. For more information, speak with librarian Robbin Smith.
