MATTAPOISETT — Disability researcher Chuck McIntyre will speak from the perspective of someone who has a learning disability at the Mattapoisett Free Public Library on Saturday, Aug. 19 at 2 p.m. 

McIntyre will cover many facets of the disabled community in his presentation.

Topics will include types of disabilities, ableism, allyship and more.

Discussion to follow the presentation.
