MATTAPOISETT — The Mattapoisett Library has opened a media lab to “support the needs of budding and seasoned makers and artists,” according to the library. 

The purpose of the Mattapoisett Library's media lab is to provide library guests with a space where they may use various digital media, creative software, and associated technologies that support their educational, professional, and personal goals and endeavors.

Within the media lab users will be able to utilize tools like the media lab computer, 3D printer, 3D scanner, Cricut laser cutter, Cricut Smart Heat Press, animation studio kit, and more. Software that users can take advantage of includes the Corel Suite and the Adobe Creative Suite.
