Children ages 5-10 are welcome to register for The Making of a Dancer program, with dance educator, Kay Janley Alden, to be held on Tuesdays, December 3rd and December 10th, both days from 3:30 to 4:30 pm.  During the first session, children will learn why people dance, how dancing has changed, how dancing can strengthen their muscles, and will have fun learning some dance moves. 

On December 10th, children will enjoy dances from Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker Balley with dancers from the New Bedford Youth Ballet, who will perform in costume.  Space is limited so call the Mattapoisett Free Public Library's Children's Department to register at 508-758-4171.
