MATTAPOISETT — The town’s Planning Board recently announced the launch of the Mattapoisett master plan project in conjunction with the Southeastern Regional Economic Development District, a regional planning agency that has recently worked with several nearby towns to complete Master Plans.

Master plans provide guidance for public policy and decision-making in a variety of areas, including land use, economic development, housing, services and facilities, and natural resources. 

To help create a more informed plan, the Planning Board is asking for residents and non-residents to fill out a survey about the Master Plan.
