MATTAPOISETT — The Florence Eastman American Legion Post 280 will host a Memorial Day program on May 27 at 1:30 p.m. 

The program will be held at Center School and will feature music, remarks and a reading of the Gettysburg Address. 

After the ceremony, Parade Marshall Michael Lamoureaux will lead a parade down Barstow Street to place flowers at the Florence Eastman and World War II memorials at the library, then to the Town Wharf to honor those lost at sea.
