Mattapoisett Recreation has the following new programs for spring:

Musik ‘n’ Fun
Music Together instructor Aoife Clancy is offering a new program for parents and toddlers/pre-school age children on Mondays from 11 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. The six-week class began March 11. There will be no class on March 25.

Classes are held at the American Legion Hall on Depot Street. The cost is $80 for the first child and $60 for each additional child. Under nine months old is free. The drop-in fee is $15.00 per class.

BayState Gymnastics Academy
The new session of gymnastics and tumbling runs from April 26 to June 14.

Gymnastics is on Friday from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Tumbling is from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Tuition is $120.00 for the first child and $110 for siblings. Ages five and older are welcome as are boys and girls.

Classes will be at Old Hammondtown School.

Kaleidoscope: Hip-hop dance
The hip-hop class will run on Thursdays from April 25 to June 13. Classes are from 3 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. at the Center School gymnasium.

Tuition is $90 for the first child and $80 for siblings. Boys and girls aged five and older are welcome.

Musical theater
This session of musical theater will perform “The Lion King.” Practices are Thursdays from April 4 to May 30 (no class during April vacation.) Sessions are from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Center School gymnasium. Tuition is $110. Boys and girls aged 5 to 13 are welcome.

Youth general conditioning
The new co-ed session of general conditioning begins Monday, March 18 and runs through April 10. The sessions run from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Center School gymnasium and are geared towards kids aged 7 to 10. Tuition is $45.
