DARTMOUTH — Mattapoisett resident Joanne Cameron has placed second in the bluefish category of the Meeting Street Fishing for a Cause Tournament on  22. 

Cameron hit the waters of Buzzards Bay with other fishermen on her boat the Solemate on June 21 and 22. Her 22.25 pound bluefish won her second place, behind Maria Tulloch of New Bedford. 

The annual catch an release tournament is in its ninth year, and had more than 30 fishermen and women compete. The $200,000 they raised will benefit the Schwartz School Early Intervention.
