The Marion Art Center has announced that Joclyne Nunes is the new director and instructor of the Dance Academy this fall. Nunes also be the instructor of all classes.

Fall session classes will start on Wednesday, Sept. 23 and registrations are now being accepted.

Nunes graduated summa cum laude from the Joan Phelps Palladino School of Dance at Dean College in 2014. She is currently pursuing her masters in arts administration from Boston University.

Nune is trained in ballet, modern, tap, jazz, contemporary/lyrical and basic acrobatics. She is the reigning Miss New Bedford as well.
