Model planes to take flight over Rochester

ROCHESTER — A radio-controlled air show is coming to Rochester.
The John Nicolaci Memorial Float Fly will be Saturday, Aug. 17 at Mary’s Pond.
The event is hosted by the Bristol County Radio Control Club. The rain date is Sunday, Aug. 18.
All clubs, members and guests are welcome.
A non-competition float fly will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nitro and electric fixed wing models are welcome.
This is an AMA-sanctioned event. There is no admission fee and a $10 landing fee.
Attendees are asked to bring their own chairs, blankets and picnic lunches. Donations will be accepted.
