More covid aid for Marion businesses

Mar 9, 2021

MARION — Always In Bloom and Sippican Dental — both minority-owned businesses — are among 50 businesses to receive funding from the state in a recent round of covid relief.

State Sen. Marc Pacheco announced the funding on March 8. Grants ranged from $5,000 to $75,000, and were awarded to businesses in Berkley, Bridgewater, Carver, Marion, Middleborough, Raynham, Taunton, and Wareham.

Always In Bloom is a woman-owned flower and gift shop. The business received $25,000 in funding from the state.

Sippican Dental received $50,000 in funding.

Funding was awarded through the Small Business Grant program, a state-administered relief program funded largely by money from the federal Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act.
