MARION — The Marion Natural History Museum was packed with guests on Friday, Feb. 9 for a presentation on Native American sites in and around Marion.

The presentation was hosted by Public Archaeology Laboratory Principal Investigator Erin Flynn. Public Archaeology Laboratory is a Pawtucket-based non-profit that provides education programs and other “services in the fields of archaeology and historic architectural survey, including regulatory compliance, historic tax credits, cemetery investigations,” according to the organization’s website.

Friday’s presentation included “locally-found” artifacts in the museum’s collection, according to a Marion Natural History Museum press release.
