The Mattapoisett Woman’s Club will meet on Thursday, Jan. 19 at Reynard Hall of the Mattapoisett Congregational Church, 27 Church St.

Socializing with members begins at 11:30 a.m., followed by a luncheon at noon.

Ross Moran from Trustees of the Reservation is the guest speaker and will talk about the Allen C. Haskell Public Gardens in New Bedford. The gardens are located in the heart of New Bedford and have six acres of landscaped gardens, historic buildings and greenhouses.

Moran’s slideshow will give a tour through the gardens and the property.
