The New England Brass Band will perform as part of Tabor Academy’s Tomlinson Visiting Artist Series for the Arts on March 27.

The band, founded in 1988, is a 30-piece brass and percussion ensemble. Based in the Boston area, the band rehearses weekly in Wilmington and draws auditioned volunteer players from Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Hampshire and Maine.

Beginning with the 2008 season, the New England Brass Band is being guided by Stephen Bulla, former chief arranger for the ‘President’s Own’ U.S. Marine Band.

The concert begins sat 7 p.m. in the Fireman Performing Art Center in Hoyt Hall. The community is welcome to this free event.
