The library will host a holiday performance in the upstairs reading rooms by the New England Irish Harp Orchestra on Sunday, Dec. 14th at 2 p.m. at the Mattapoisett Library.

The New England Irish Harp Orchestra, directed by Regina Delaney, has been performing for six years throughout New England. The group of about a dozen harpists plays traditional Irish tunes and original pieces.

Educational comments about the history and tradition of the harp will enhance the presentation for the children in the audience.

Parking is available on the street and at Town Wharf.

This concert, sponsored by the Library Trust, will be preceded by the Annual Meeting of the Friends of the Mattapoisett Library downstairs in the community meeting room.
