New notes from the Rochester Senior Center

Financial assistance for home renovation projects is available for Rochester residents who are 62 and over that meet certain financial criteria. If residents need financial assistance, they should call the Senior Center to determine if they qualify for this program.

On Thursday, March 14 starting at 9:30 a.m. Old Colony Technical High School students will be at the Rochester Senior Center to provide manicures. Call the senior center for more information. 

The Council on Aging will hold its board meeting at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, March 6.

Special lunches
On Monday, March 11 at noon the Council on Aging will host an Irish luncheon with Irish entertainment. 

March 18 at noon Hanna will host her special luncheon. Seniors who are interested in participating should register ahead of time. There is a suggested anonymous donation of $5 to cover food costs. 

Mike and Ann’s Special luncheon and the quarterly birthday luncheon will take place Monday, March 25 at noon. Seniors should also register for this luncheon. The senior center requests an  anonymous donation of $5 for the lunch.
