MARION — The Marion Art Center will host its second meeting of the newly-created Marion Art Center Poetry Group on Wednesday, July 31 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Marion Art Center. Both experienced and novice poets are welcome to attend.

There is no cost to join the group. Attendees should bring an open mind, an open heart, and one to three poems to share with the group. During the second meeting, the group will workshop poems in a friendly, supportive atmosphere. 

Most of the group’s meetings will be on the last Tuesday of each month, though this meeting is scheduled on a Wednesday.
