New Year’s polar plunge to help support families dealing with cancer

MATTAPOISETT — Begin the new year by jumping into the ocean at Mattapoisett Town Beach on Wednesday, Jan. 1 at 12 p.m.
At the event, participants can plunge into the water, buy baked goods, coffee and hot chocolate, and make donations.
Proceeds go towards local families dealing with cancer.
