To the Editor:

The 11th Annual Old Colony Golf Tournament was held at the Acushnet River Valley Golf Course in Acushnet on Saturday, May 16  and honored long-time culinary arts instructor, golf coach and golf tournament scholarship chairman John Abaray.

The Old Colony Golf Committee thanks John for his time, energy, effort, support and leadership for having a direct impact on the students who benefit from this annual event.

A special thanks to all organizations and vendors who gave funding for a teebox, T-shirt, cash donation, gift certificate or raffle item as well as the golfers who supported the 11th annual tournament.

Additionally, the golf committee would like to thank the Acushnet River Valley Golf Course, Titleist and Ahead for their years of continued support for this annual event that supports the Old Colony Student Scholarships and Services Fund.
