Onwards and upwards: Tri-town high school graduations approach

May 28, 2025

It’s almost time for graduating Tri-town high school seniors to receive the tassel that was worth the hassle.

Here are the details of upcoming graduation ceremonies for Old Rochester Regional High School, Tabor Academy and Old Colony Regional Technical Vocational High School.

Old Rochester graduation is scheduled to take place on Saturday, May 31 at 11 a.m.

The commencement will take place at the high school on the football field, with attendees seated in the bleachers.

Tabor Academy graduation is scheduled for Friday, May 30 at 10 a.m.

The ceremony will be held on campus, with an accompanying livestream set up online at https://vimeo.com/event/5158575 for friends and family who cannot attend the event in person.

Tabor Academy alum and acclaimed podcaster Caitlin McCormick Murray will serve as the commencement speaker for the ceremony.

Murray has nearly 2 million Instagram followers on Instagram and her podcast, “Big Time Adulting.”

"Being at Tabor was this great experience. I had friends who were amazing artists and actors, performers, singers; friends who were incredible athletes and who were incredibly smart. What I loved about it was that there was room to move and explore your own interests. There was a lot of respect for the different interests and different people within the community," she said.

Old Colony graduation will take place on Thursday, June 5 at 6 p.m.

Additionally, Old Colony prom will take place on Friday, May 30 from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Century House in Acushnet and the senior trip to Howl Splitsville Golf Suites in Foxborough is on Tuesday, June 3.
