Old Hammondtown School will host an open mic coffeehouse on Friday, February 22 to benefit a Mattapoisett family that recently lost its home to a fire.

The event will run from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. The cost is $5 per person and $10 for families.

Performances can include poetry readings, musical performances, jokes, and other acts.

There will also be concessions available for a donation.
