Old Rochester Regional Assistant Superintendent Dr. Elise Frangos will not be Freetown-Lakeville Regional School District's new superintendent.

Frangos was one of three finalists for the position along with Wareham’s Director of Curriculum and Instruction Janice Rotella.

On Wednesday, the Freetown-Lakeville School Committee voted 5-2 in favor of Somerset Superintendent Richard Medeiros.

Frangos, who is head of curriculum, instruction and assessment for tri-town schools, was runner up last year for Wareham superintendent.
