The Regain Addiction Support Group ministry is hosting an overdose prevention seminar and hands-on training using Narcan, an overdose reversal medication. This event will be held at the Council on Aging, 17 Barstow St., on Feb. 21 from 6-7:30 p.m. It is free and open to the public, though there are limited seats available.

There will be a state certified addiction training instructor at the event, and the training will include how to identify if someone is suffering from an addiction, how to get help for someone with an addiction and for families and how to help someone overcome addiction.
