Pan-Mass Challenge bikers get Rochester welcome
Aug 4, 2013
A number of watering and cheering stations set up on Neck Road Saturday as Pan-Mass Challenge riders came through on their way to Provincetown.
The race 192-mile race began earlier that morning in Sturbridge. The purpose of the race is to raise money for cancer research, with proceeds going to Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
This year, Sarah and Chris Marchisio, of Rochester, raced with friends on Team oN a Mission. The capital N stands for their mother Nancy who passed away from cancer several years ago.

Just up the street from the Marchisio post, the Boucher's set up their annual stand to cheer on and provide water for bike riders. Nathan Baldwin and Kayla Boucher also provided musical entertainment. BY GEORGIA SPARLING
